Chiswick House
A house in the heart of Chiswick with a beautiful sun-soaked garden.
Match Lighting Studio were appointed to bring the garden to life also after sunset and to provide lighting design expertise for the existing kitchen/conservatory and a stunning new garden house.
The lighting concept aims to satisfy the different requirements of each space with the common goal of bringing out the beautiful finishes and landscape, as well as creating an inviting and warm atmosphere throughout.
In the kitchen, directional downlights and under-cabinet luminaires provide the required task and accent lighting to make meal preparation a breeze, while two large decorative globe pendants provide soft and diffused illumination in the conservatory and act as strong focal points for both the interior and exterior.
The lighting for the garden is layered to provide soft low level illumination along the stepping stone path, with accents of light up onto the trees and shrubs complemented by a few pleasant clusters of decorative garden lights.
The Garden Room houses a beautiful bar, where the lighting has been carefully integrated in the bespoke joinery to highlight the warm brass, golden and wood finishes and provide dramatic accent lighting to the bottles taking centre stage in front of an antique mirror background, for an overall warm and inviting ambience.
