Westfield Cerny Most
The Westfield Cerny Most extension adds 9,000 sqm of new retail and dining space, renewing façades and entrances while reinforcing the centre’s role as a key cultural and commercial destination.
Match collaborated with Westfield Cerny Most to reimagine the retail experience as a contemporary, light-filled environment, anchored by the presence of the iconic skylight. Lighting was conceived as an integral architectural element, shaping atmosphere, identity and a sense of place. Daylight, greenery and layered artificial lighting work together to create warm, grounded spaces inspired by local materials and colours, encouraging people to gather, linger and connect.
A central skylight acts as a luminous landmark, drawing daylight deep into the building by day and glowing as a beacon at night. This linear language continues throughout the extension, linking the Grand Kitchen and retail areas, while carefully lit voids and materials add depth, orientation and intimacy.
Externally, façade and terrace lighting give the building a distinct nighttime presence, extending the warmth and human scale of the interior into the public realm
